Coming up on Saturday June 14th! The Udvar-Hazy Center is hosting a FREE family day event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2, with all kinds of vintage airplane related happenings, an afternoon swing dance sponsored by Debra Sternberg and Tom Koerner's Gottaswing organization, accompanied by Cyndy Elliott's SheBop Swing octet, and all sorts of other fun activities as well.

Cyndy's band includes Cyndy on bass with Amanda Gardier, Anita Thomas, and Leigh Pilzer on saxes, Kenneth McGee and Doug Elliott on trumpet and trombone, with Jenny Wilson and Angel Bethea rounding out the rhythm section. We will be playing for your dancing and listening enjoyment from 1:00 until 3:00 PM, so come on out this coming Saturday and help us celebrate!
