The Jazz Academy of Music, Inc proudly presents The Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival (MAJF). The MAJF is a straight-ahead jazz festival that occurs every year over President’s Day weekend. We offer 3 days of jazz music on 5 stages running simultaneously. Four of our stages are paid stages. Our JAM stage is located just inside Bethesda Marriott’s Copper’s Mill restaurant and it is a free stage. We also offer masterclasses, live interviews with the performing artist, a midnight jam session and youth jam sessions that are free.
