Howard University Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts Department of Theatre Arts is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of "Sophisticated Ladies," a dazzling celebration of the music and legacy of the legendary Duke Ellington. The performances will take place from February 25 to February 28 at 7:30 PM at the Ira Aldridge Theater.

Duke Ellington's "Sophisticated Ladies" is a musical revue that captures the essence of Ellington's indelible contribution to the world of jazz and big band music. With a score that includes some of Ellington's most iconic compositions, the show transports audiences to a bygone era of swing and sophistication. The production features students of the Musical Theatre Program and a live band of seven talented musicians who will bring Ellington's timeless music to life on stage.
